Borrowing theses

Doctoral and Master's theses held in the University of Otago Library collection are generally available for interlibrary loan within New Zealand and overseas.

Interloan requests can be placed via Te Puna, LADD or OCLC. Or by emailing the request to interloans.central@otago.ac.nz

Unless listed in the Library Catalogue, contact the appropriate University of Otago Department or School for copies of Honours theses and postgraduate diploma reports.

Purchasing theses

Theses can be purchased by other libraries and individuals for research purposes. The thesis will be supplied as a PDF. You may retain only one version of the thesis that is PDF or printed thesis.

To seek a quote for purchase, complete the appropriate Thesis Request form below.

• Pay invoice by cheque, credit card, or direct debit.
• Fee payment service – IBS, IIBS, IFM.
• Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
• Special requirements (multiple volumes, colour pages, maps, AV sections): price on application.

• PDF or Photocopy	Standard NZ/Australia*	Overseas
  up to 250 pages	NZ $65	USD $25
  over 250 pages	NZ $100	USD $40

• *prices include NZ GST.
