BooksBooks in the Science Library are arranged according to the Library of Congress (LC) classification system. Life Sciences books and journals are shelved on the second floor. General Science and Physical Science books and journals are shelved on the third floor. Life Sciences books and journals are shelved on the second floor. Oversize books in all science subjects are located on the first floor, and Reference books are on the Ground Floor. New books are displayed on the ground floor for two weeks. The book display is changed on Fridays. Lists of new titles for the Life Sciences and the Physical Sciences may be viewed on the Library web as well. JournalsThe Science Library has a substantial collection of journals in both print and electronic format. Print journals are arranged alphabetically by title on the second and third floors of the library: Life Sciences journals are shelved on the second floor; General Science and Physical Science journals are shelved on the third floor. Electronic journals are accessible via the Library Catalogue and the Library's E-journal/E-book database. To locate specific articles in journals, use one of the Library's Article Databases. Select new journals are on display in the Science Library for 14 days from the date of receipt. ThesesThe Science Library holds copies of theses completed by students in the Division of Sciences. Theses may be used only in the library. Ask for them at the Lending & Information Desk. MapsMaps and atlases are located on the Ground Floor at the beginning of the Reference Collection.
