Document Delivery / Interloan Form

What is an Interloan?

The Library provides an interloan service to assist in locating and obtaining information not held in The Robertson Library. The Library is a member of an interloan system, which provides for the lending of books and the supplying of journal articles by libraries throughout New Zealand.

How Long Does an Interloan Request Take?

Response time depends on the availability of the item.  Copies (journal articles, book chapters) usually arrive within five days. Loans (books, theses) usually arrive within ten days.

What Much Does an Interloan Cost?

All copies are free. Loans from NZ and Australia are free. Loans from overseas are $25. There may be a charge for an Urgent service.

Who Can Use the Interloan Service?

The interloan service is primarily for senior students and teaching staff. The collections of The Robertson Library are usually adequate to meet the demands of most courses at the introductory level.
