About the Law Library

The Law Library is on floors 6 to 9 of the Richardson Building. Enter the building using the central doors and take the lift or stairs to the Library entrance on the 8th floor.

Law Library staff provide tutorials and classes during the year with the aim of assisting students in the use of library resources. Further information and booking times are available from the Main Desk. There are facilities for Photocopying, an inter-library loan service, and Wi-Fi.

The Law Library is the University's main resource for legal information. Other campus libraries with law-related material are: Central Library (especially parliamentary material, in the Reference Department); Hocken Collections, Anzac Avenue (New Zealand material): Medical Library (medico-legal and bioethics material). The Law Library has seating accommodation for 277 readers.
