Medline connection files

Medline connection files can be adjusted to return results for different date ranges. To do this go to Ovid, click on the "i" beside Medline in the Ovid database list page, then scroll down to the segments header. Take the 4 letter code for the date range segment you want to search, then open the Medline connection file in EndNote and replace the 4 letter code in the "Database Name" field under the "Connection Settings" option. Also, change the Database name in the "Database" field and the name of the connection file so that they reflect the date range being searched.
