Requesting an item

Click to submit Recall, Call
Slip, and Reserve Booking or Borrow Direct requests |
To Request an item:
1. Search for a title and view the Full Record
2. Click Request Item
3. If you have not already done so, you will be asked to login
4. Select the type of request you wish to make:
Recall is selected when you wish
to request the return of an item that is out on loan so you may
consult it. This may shorten that loan period to one week from
your placing the recall.
Call Slip Request is selected when you wish to
have a Hocken Collections or Storage item made available for you,
or be retrieved from Storage for you.
Reserve Booking is selected when you wish to
book time to consult an item held on Reserve.
Borrow Direct is selected when you want to borrow an item that is held in AUT, Waikato or Victoria University Library.
5. Click OK
6. Select the copy, pick-up location and need by date

7. Click Submit Request
Note:
- If you have a limited number of a particular type of request
available to you, the number appears next to the request type
in the list
- Click Reset to clear your request
- Click Logout when you have submitted your
request
- Click My Details to view information relating
to any requests you have placed
