Guided Search

finds records using keywords or phrases located anywhere in a record, or only in specific fields. |
To perform a Guided Search
- Enter the search term(s) you want to find in the Search
for box
- Select whether to search for all of these
terms, any of these terms, or the terms as
a phrase
- Select a specific field from the Search by
box
- Use AND, OR, or NOT
to combine the next search terms
- If required, click More Limits to apply limits
to your search
- Select how many search results you want displayed on each page
- Click Search
Example:
Search for information about tourism in New Zealand
but not about adventure tourism
Note:
- Click Reset to clear the Guided Search
page
Practice Example:
Search for information comparing human rights in England and
New Zealand before the year 2000.
